Mrs Elena Tamburini

PhD degree in Bioengineering in 1999. She has high experience in the following fields: analysis and user requirements identification for the proper trade-off among technological solutions and user needs, usability and ethical issues; Design and development of integrated systems for Smart Living contexts with specific reference to Ambient Assisted Living. Project Manager of dozens of R&D; projects cofounded under EU programmes (VIIFP, AAL Programme, ERDF, LLP). Author of “White Paper on tele-homecare”, study on adoption level, perspectives and barriers for Tele-Homecare services in Europe (EUCAN initiative, EU Commission, 2002), MEDEA Florence (Italy).
