Prof. Jose Rivas is specialized in magnetism and magnetic nanoparticles. Full Professor of Applied Physics since 1982 at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). Postdoc at the Max Planck Institute (Stutgart, Germany (1974-75). Director General of the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory- (INL), Braga (Portugal) (2005-2014). Supervisor of more than20 PhD Thesis, with more than350 published peer-reviewed papers and more than 10 Patents related with new materials.- Principal investigator. In charge of the supervision of the research, management and responsible of the research group.
