Prof. Dr. Günter Reiss holds a chair for Thin Films and Nanostructures at Bielefeld University. The main activities comprise ultrathin magnetic film systems, nanopatterning and device prototyping for sensor- and datastorage technologies.
In the MADIA project, he is responsible for designing and optimizing sensors that can detect magnetic nanoparticles in a microfluidic environment.
