Dr. Giulia Foschi
Principal Investigator,
Giulia Foschi is a PhD. Researcher in Physical Chemistry in Scriba Nanotecnologie Research Derparment. She obtained her PhD in Chemistry in 2013, a bachelor degree in Industrial Chemistry in 2007 and a master degree in Products, Materials and Processes for Industrial Chemistry in 2009 from the University of Bologna. Her current research and competences are focus on nano- and micro-fabrication processes, fabrication of microfluidic devices, unconventional lithographic technique, fabrication and characterization of biomolecules and functional materials, functionalization of surfaces and nanoparticles, self-assembly monolayer and drug delivery. She is conducting research in several European Projects and she is co-author of 15 publications in international scientific journals.
Her activities in MADIA project includes the fabrication of microfludic devices for the mixing, separation and handling of cerebrospinal fluids or other biological fluids, to deliver on the sensing area of the MADIA devices. Moreover, she will collaborate together with the other colleagues for the preparation of all the technical reports and deliverables.
