Fabio Ugolini
Fabio Ugolini received a PhD degree in 2013 from the ETH in Zürich, where he worked on the extraction of biofilms from natural sediment. Afterwards he worked as a postdoc at the University Hospital of Zurich where he resarched the invasion strategies of opportunistic bacteria.
He later joined the Swiss Federal Water Institute (EAWAG) as a consultant on microbial water quality assessment. He joined INNOVA in 2016 and is now involved in several H2020 projects where he advises on financing, communication, dissemination and commercialization.
