Dr. Silvia Rizzato
PhD Student,
Silvia Rizzato graduated (cum laude) in Physics in April 2013. In her master thesis she worked on the fabrication and characterization of magnetoresistive junctions.
She is concluding her PhD period at the Department of Mathematics and Physics “Ennio De Giorgi” of University of Salento, during which she was involved in the development of new devices and processes for spintronics and sensors.
In particular, she worked on the optimization of devices based on Surface Acoustic Waves and on Colloidal Lithography to develop nanostructured optical transducers for Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance. In the MADIA project she will be involved in WP1,WP3 and WP5.
